Xiaoming Guo the next trustee of Waterloo Region District School Board

Xiaoming Guo

Xiaoming Guo is living in Kitchener and running for the Waterloo Region District School Board Trustee. He believes that our school is playing a key function to uphold our Canadian Multiculturalism. Young people are the future of the world, and education will help our youth prepared.

Xiaoming Guo has a Ph.D. degree from McGill University and an MBA degree from Queen’s University. He taught at different colleges including Wilfrid Laurier University.

At present, we are facing some evolving issues such as the Sex-Ed Curriculum change, the legalization of marijuana, which raise the concerns of some parents regarding the potential risk to the healthy growth of children.

Ontario public schools have a syllabus that lacks details and without standard teaching materials, which make parents feel difficult to help children’s homework. If Xiaoming Guo was elected as the Trustee, he will communicate with parents to help them understand more about the policies, and provide their feedback and opinions to improve our education policy.

Long-term study and work experience in school let Xiaoming Guo know how education affects children’s career and future, and how to communicate with students and their parents. With his Confucian cultural background, Xiaoming Guo will increase the understanding between Chinese and Western culture, promote the humanistic spirituality, contribute to the building of a constructive multicultural society in Canada.

On October 22, please vote for Xiaoming Guo and choose a Trustee who can understand and help you and your children
